Biblical Judicial Precedence

EXO 18:13  And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the
people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

EXO 18:16  When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between
one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.

EXO 18:22  And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be,
that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter
they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the
burden with thee.

LEV 19:15  Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not
respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in
righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

NUM 35:24  Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the
revenger of blood according to these judgments:

DEU 1:16  And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes
between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his
brother, and the stranger that is with him.
DEU 16:18  Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which
the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge
the people with just judgment.
DEU 25:1  If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto
judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the
righteous, and condemn the wicked.
DEU 25:2  And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that
the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face,
according to his fault, by a certain number.

SA1 2:25  If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if
a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they
hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay
them
SA2 15:4  Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that
every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would dohim justice!


KI1 3:9  Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy
people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

CH2 1:10  Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in
before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?

man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.


EZR 7:25  And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine
hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are
beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them
that know them not.

PRO 31:9  Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor
and needy.

ISA 1:17  Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the
fatherless, plead for the widow.

JER 5:28  They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of
the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.


ZEC 3:7  Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if   Thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt
also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that
stand by.

LUK 12:58  When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou
art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest
he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and
the officer cast thee into prison.

 JOH 7:24  Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous
judgment.

JOH 7:51  Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he
doeth?

JOH 18:31  Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according
to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to

ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.

for sittest thou to judge me after the law,

[ PAUL IS TELLING THIS PERSON THAT HE IS SUPPOSING TO JUDGE BY THE LAW, AND THAT WOULD BE CORRECT]

and commandest me to be smitten

[AND HERE HE IS SAYING THAT THE PERSON IS COMMANDING A SENTENCE CONTRARY TO THE LAW... BROTHER, WHAT IS YOUR LAW?]
contrary to the law?

ACT 24:10  Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to
speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a
judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
